LE PARADIS D`APHRODITE

Series of 8 Photos - Limited Edition

Breaking-free from a logical-analytical way of thinking which I was accustomed to as a chemist, is the starting point of my art works. Diving into deep emotions and trusting my intuitive creative process has result in this series of sensual and ambiguous photos. Each photo contains a part of my transformative phase. Learning to fully love and accept myself including my erotic, intense, and vulnerable personality was most important.

Paradise can only be found within us.

The series “Le paradis d`Aphrodite” is provocative and subtle at the same time. The observer is invited to imagine his/her own captivating tale.

First photos were taken during my residency in Barcelona . Later, travelling to the land of contradictions - Iran - has inspired the way of expressing my sensual side regarding my own discrepancies. The tension between social expectations and celebrating femininity is condensed in the current series.
